At our AI Agenda Live summit, Replit CEO Amjad Masad argued that coding agents are becoming foundational infrastructure for the next wave of AI products.
But he also had a warning for startups building on top of the major labs: “Everyone needs to be skeptical of them.” As coding becomes embedded in more AI products, Masad said companies should be mindful that their model providers may also become competitors.
