It's not really a surprise, but Fable 5.5 is expected to outperform Astra 6.1.
Reminder: Astra 6.1 is already finished and was supposed to be released, but was postponed due to security concerns.
Fable 5.5 is very close and rumored to even outperform Astra 6.1. Considering how good Claude is right now, this isn't really surprising. A good sign for Anthropic and their IPO; OpenAI is under pressure.
