What I take from this is the next Grok needs to be a huge jump to keep up. It's barely better than open source right now.
Also Anthropic are clearly in the driving seat. Even their mid-tier models are beating everyone else and OpenAI have dropped to the third tier. They're really missing the cancelled Astra 6.1 right now.
