Anthropic 发布 Claude Duet，一个主动式智能体应用，与 Meta 的 Muse 和 OpenAI 的 Dots 直接竞争。Duet 每隔几小时检查一次关联账户，而不是持续运行，因为后台检查消耗与普通 Claude 对话相同的额度。它运行 Claude Opus 5.5 并使用带独立浏览器的云端虚拟机，但用户只能看到结果和审批提示，无法实时观看浏览器操作。按 Opus 5.5 的 API 定价估算，每天 6 次检查每月约 34 美元，已超过 Pro 的 20 美元月费。支付需要双重审批（Duet 确认商品、Stripe 的 Link 钱包批准扣款），并用虚拟卡隐藏真实卡号，证券交易和账户间转账即使获得批准也被禁止。

> Claude Duet checks connected accounts every few hours instead of continuously because constant checking would use up Pro and Max limits much faster, and those background checks draw on the same allowance as regular Claude chats.
> Duet runs Claude Opus 5.5 on a cloud virtual machine with its own browser, but users can’t yet watch that browser, so they see results and approval prompts rather than each step.

> Purchases need 2 separate approvals, with Duet confirming the item and Stripe’s Link wallet approving the spend, before Duet pays with a virtual card that keeps your real card number private.
> Before Duet sends a message, makes a payment, signs a document or deletes anything, it shows exactly what it will do and waits for approval, yet trading securities and moving money between accounts stay blocked even with approval.
> A new classifier and safety system prompt reject requests to share credit card numbers and government IDs, while health or personal-finance details go out only when the user explicitly tells Duet to send them.
> Credential handling follows the Claude Managed Agents design, so Duet never directly sees passwords or sign-in tokens, and the auto mode classifier used in Claude Code screens its actions.
