PyTorch 基金会旗下项目 Ray 宣布成立 Ray on Accelerators 专项小组（SIG）。Ray 目前已支持超过 12 种加速器类型，包括 NVIDIA、AMD GPU、TPU 和 Trainium。该小组将围绕三方面制定厂商中立路线图：真实硬件上的开发测试基础设施、理解拓扑结构的硬件感知调度，以及基于 Ray Direct Transport 的设备间直连传输。硬件厂商、云服务商和社区成员可通过 Ray Slack、社区会议和 GitHub 参与。
Today, PyTorch Foundation project, Ray is announcing the Special Interest Group (SIG) for Ray on Accelerators.
Ray already supports more than a dozen accelerator types, from NVIDIA and AMD GPUs to TPUs and Trainium. The SIG brings hardware vendors, cloud providers, and the Ray community together around a vendor-neutral roadmap focused on:
· Development and testing infrastructure on real hardware · Hardware-aware scheduling that understands topology · Direct device-to-device transport with Ray Direct Transport
