OpenAI 推出 GPT Image 2.6 的 Sunburst 和 Flare 两个 Medium 版本，速度比 GPT Image 2.5 快超过 2 倍，最低延迟可到 5 秒。在 Text-to-Image Arena 上，Sunburst 以 1409 分排第 2，Flare 以 1384 分排第 4，其中 Sunburst 在 Cartoon、Anime & Fantasy 类别拿第 1。在 Image Edit Arena 上，Sunburst 以 1476 分排第 3，Flare 以 1462 分排第 5。官方称新版本在保持 GPT Image 2.5 质量相近的同时增强了照片写实度和编辑一致性。
