传 OpenAI 或发布新"o"系列模型，内部代号 Bel 更可能亮相
外网博主分析 OpenAI 下一款模型的命名走向，提到 Bel 和应对 Opus 5.5 的竞争，吃瓜看热闹正合适。
有传闻称 OpenAI 将推出包含"o"agent 的新"o"系列模型，类似过去的 o3、o4。但 OpenAI 近年命名已转向 Sol、Astra 等代号，不太可能重启"o"系列。作者推测更可能是 Astra 的后继版本 Bel 的预览版，原因是需要应对 Anthropic 的 Opus 5.5。

I’m not sure I agree with that. OpenAI has generally moved away from "o" designations in its naming conventions, switching instead to names like Sol, Astra, etc. On the other hand, it does seem odd that their always-on agent is named "o".
However, considering Tibo’s posts and the need to respond to Opus 5.5, what I can easily imagine is a preview of "Bel" - the successor to Astra - either as a full release or just a preview. OpenAI wants to maintain its lead.
