The Association for Human Mathematics 发声明反对 OpenAI 一次性发布的 722 篇数学论文，称数学家并未要求开展这项工作，并呼吁数学家停止与 OpenAI 合作。菲尔兹奖得主陶哲轩以客座文章形式在其博客转载了该声明，被 X 上不少用户误认为是他本人的表态。OpenAI 已撤回其中 3 篇论文，另有 14 篇经过修订。OpenAI 在发布说明中曾承认部分未形式化的结果可能存在问题，并表示会尽快修复。

The Association for Human Mathematics, on OpenAI's 722-paper release: "Mathematicians did not ask for this work to be done." It also urged mathematicians "to discontinue their work with OpenAI." Fields Medalist Terence Tao reposted the statement on his blog as a guest post, and X has since run with it as Tao's own words. OpenAI has also withdrawn 3 of the papers, and 14 more have been revised since the release. OpenAI's README on the drop did say that "some of the unformalized results could have issues.
