Anthropic 把非营利机构 METR 的 6 名安全评估员接入公司内部，硬件、办公空间和内部权限与自家风险评估团队大致持平。METR 将独立发布对 Anthropic 模型风险的评估结论，公司不能阻止发布，只能对客户数据等预设类别做删减，METR 还可公开提出异议。其他评估方如 SecureBio 则被归入 3 个访问层级的最低档，Anthropic 仍控制其可见内容和发布审批。
Anthropic has placed 6 safety evaluators from the outside nonprofit METR inside the company, with access to internal systems, tools and staff roughly equal to that of its own risk teams.
Six METR staff have company hardware, office space, and internal access “roughly on par” with Anthropic’s own risk assessment teams.
METR will publish its own verdicts on how risky Anthropic’s models and practices are, and Anthropic cannot block them, only redact a few predefined categories such as customer data, a decision METR can publicly challenge.
Other evaluators, such as SecureBio, start at the lowest of 3 new access tiers, where Anthropic still controls what they see and must approve what they publish.
