Google Cloud 宣布下月向所有客户开放基于 NVIDIA Vera Rubin 的 A5X 实例。伦敦广告集团 WPP 的早期测试显示，原先需要数台服务器集群承载的 AI 智能体负载可在单个 A5X 实例上运行。机架之间通过 ConnectX-9 网卡和 Google 的 Virgo 网络连接，可将规模扩展到跨多个站点的 960K 块 Rubin GPU。该设计主要面向强化学习场景，通过缩短每轮训练中的 CPU-GPU 与 GPU-GPU 通信时间提升效率。

In early tests by London advertising group WPP, AI agent workloads that previously needed a cluster of several servers ran on a single A5X instance.
Outside each rack, ConnectX-9 network cards and Google’s Virgo network tie racks together, letting Google Cloud scale the setup to 960K Rubin GPUs across multiple sites.
The design targets reinforcement learning, where models repeatedly generate experience, score results and retrain, so faster CPU-to-GPU and GPU-to-GPU links shorten each round.
