X 用户 Chetaslua 展示了 Fable 5.5 一次生成（one shot）的动画视频，内容全部由代码实现，作者认为观感优于现有 AI 视频模型。对比测试显示，同样的提示词在 Opus 5.5 上质量下降，在 Fable 5.1 上效果更差。作者还通过关闭联网搜索提问“@karpathy 2026 年去了哪里”验证 Fable 5.5 的知识更新程度，并指出知识截止日期之前的模型也可能不知道某些事件。Grok 在这类小众知识的推理上被认为知识不够新。

Only the new Fable knows the answer. Then give it the prompt. Run the same prompt I used for the test (it’s in the screenshot) and see for yourself. Don’t rely on Grok for basic reasoning like this. Grok doesn’t have up-to-date knowledge of niche stuff. Either join the community or run the test yourself. Also, a knowledge cutoff doesn’t mean a model knows everything before that date. Sometimes a model doesn’t know about an event even if it happened before its cutoff. This test shows that too. Run the same prompt on regular Opus 5.5 and the quality drops. On Fable 5.1 it’s worse.
