Perplexity 推出面向工作的智能体产品 Teammates，目前以研究预览形式向 Max 订阅用户开放。Perplexity 内部工作区在过去 30 天里已有约 10000 个 Teammates，是其员工规模的 20 倍，其中约 1000 个在前一天保持活跃。Teammates 可自动执行深度研究、数据分析、QA、工单分派和代码审查等任务，内部为每位员工节省了数百小时时间。与以往的工具型 Agent 不同，Teammates 会主动联系用户、同事和其他 Teammates，并自主完成整个工作闭环，无需反复人工干预。

We have about 10,000 teammates (within the last 30 days) in Perplexity's internal workspace right now. That's already 20x our headcount. And about a 1000 were active yesterday. Agents have reached the point where they can start to be trusted with responsibilities at work. Teammates excel at automating tasks like deep research, data analysis, QA, triaging tickets, and reviewing code, which has saved each of us internally at Perplexity hundreds of hours of menial work. Leaving us the much more interesting work of setting vision, judging quality, and teaching restraint. Agents are now rising up beyond tools and task-based sessions to take on supporting and coworking roles. Teammates proactively reach out to you, other coworkers, and other teammates in the workspace. Teammates close the loop on their own work, finishing the job instead of requiring repeated steering or manual management of sessions.
