Anthropic 直接买下供应商接手不了的 Caterpillar 发电机订单，比排队等货快了几年，AI 算力竞赛已经卷到发电环节了。
据 FT 报道，Anthropic 以 34 亿美元购买了 1.7GW 的 Caterpillar 燃气发电机，是 AI 实验室已知规模最大的电力设备采购。这批设备原属 San Antonio 供应商 OnePWR Solutions 两年前下的订单，因融资失败被 Anthropic 接手。由于订单早于价格上涨，发电机将在未来 2 年内交付，无需排进如今长达数年的制造队列。xAI 今年也以 20 亿美元采购了移动燃气轮机，Alphabet 则在 2025 年底收购了能源开发商 Intersect。Anthropic 已披露到 2045 年近 9000 亿美元的算力承诺，主要通过合作伙伴以高价锁定电力、芯片和土地。

It took over orders that OnePWR Solutions, a San Antonio supplier, placed 2 years ago but could not finance.
Anthropic had planned to be a OnePWR customer, but instead bought the engines plus the engineering and construction work to install them.
Because those orders predate the price surge, the engines arrive over the next 2 years rather than joining manufacturing queues that now run for years.
xAI took a similar route with $2B of mobile gas turbines this year, while Alphabet bought energy developer Intersect in late 2025.
Anthropic has disclosed nearly $900B in computing commitments through 2045, secured largely through partners at premium prices for power, chips and land.
