Andrej Karpathy 在 HackerTube 博客中公布了自己的编码工具组合。他使用 Claude Code 的 Mac 桌面应用，并认为终端不是编码智能体的正确界面，桌面应用才是当前最佳选择。模型方面他默认使用 Opus 5.5，且将推理强度设在 Medium 档。他的理由是：多数任务没必要用最强模型配最高推理强度。

As I’ve been saying, terminal is the wrong interface for coding agents. Desktop apps are the best interface today.
- “I use Opus 5.5 on Medium effort as my default.”
There’s no point to use the smartest model at the highest reasoning effort for most tasks.
